Sunday and Monday only, YouTube is testing a new platform that integrates live streaming directly into partner YouTube channels. Assuming the service becomes more widely available, broadcasters will need a webcam or external USB/FireWire camera to stream content live. There's also a “Live Comments” module for two way conversations. Based on the results of this initial test, YouTube will evaluate rolling out the platform more broadly.
