Details & Free Beta Invites:Using a smartphone, fans can immediately access video, download tracks, connect on Facebook & Twitter, and purchase tickets. The goal is to makes each point of physical contact easily actionable: the album cover, poster, sticker, merchandise tag, and more becomes a rich point of discovery. ShareSquare also enables ssponsorship opportunities with demo and geo targeted brands that add a new revenue stream to making the artist’s existing promotions.
A current campaign for Disney artist Mitchel Musso, for example, added a ShareSquare QR code to packaging on 10,000 of albums in Walmart. Every day until Christmas one person who scans the code will win a signed album, in essence turning the QR code into a digital scratch-and-win ticket.
