(UPDATED) I'm back from a quick and interesting trip with our own Jeff Miller to Nashville for a meeting with Rick Alter. We spent some time at IEBA - a conference for casino, fair and event buyers. They're a wonderful, and in many ways, savvy group, but have only just begun to engage fans using digital and social marketing. In some ways, it was a reminder of how far the music industry - in this case live concert marketing - still has to go. PS: Big thanks to Kyle for doing double duty on Hypebot for the last two days.
