iPhone game maker Tapulous has been acquired by Disney. Tapulous is the maker of the hugely popular Tap Tap Revenge mobile music video game. The company has created custom themed versions of the game based on a number of popular artists including Metallica, Jusiin Bieber, Lady Gaga and the Dave Mathews Band. Their new Tap Tap Radiation for the iPad appears to be a hit as well.

Disney also recently invested $33 million in mobile game maker Playdom. Details of the Tapulous purchase were not released.
