BBC 6Music Is Saved

(UPDATED) This morning, the BBC Trust announced their decision to save BBC 6Music. Sir Michael Lyons, Chairman of the Trust, shared the group's conclusions of their recent review in a statement saying that "the case has not been made for the closure of 6 Music".

Musicians and the music industry had lobbied aggressively to save the indie music dominated broadcast outlet that many say has been responsible for breaking many new artists.
